These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Phosphor application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by YuMo Lab ("we," "us," or "our"), an independent developer based in Canada.
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Use of the Service
Phosphor is a personal finance tracking application designed for individual use. You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws.
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU/EEA) to use the Service. By using Phosphor, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
2. Waitlist & Communications
When you join our waitlist by providing your email address, you consent to receive email communications from us regarding the launch of Phosphor and related updates. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in each email.
3. Your Data
On-device storage. Financial data you enter into Phosphor is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data unless you explicitly enable a future cloud sync feature.
Your responsibility. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your on-device data. We are not liable for any loss of data resulting from device failure, app removal, or other causes.

4. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and branding associated with Phosphor and the Service are the property of YuMo Lab and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
- Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service by automated means
- Impersonate any person or entity in connection with the Service
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Not financial advice. Phosphor is a tracking and analytics tool. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You should consult a qualified professional for financial decisions.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, YuMo Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or financial losses resulting from reliance on information provided by the Service.
8. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
